La Dra. Hale es profesora Titular y directora de los programas docentes en Interpretación y Traducción de la Universidad de Western Sydney en Australia. Ha publicado muy extensamente en el campo de la interpretación judicial inglés-español. Sus publicaciones han aparecido en revistas tales como: Applied Lingusitics, Discourse Studies, Forensic Lingusitics, The International Journal of Speech, Language and the Law, Revista de la Sociedad Argentina de Lingüística, The Translator.
